As your baby grows, it’s also comforting to know that Missouri Baptist’s ER has a dedicated pediatric unit. In 2007, we partnered with St. Louis Children’s Hospital and opened a full-size emergency room just for children.

The emergency unit is staffed 24-7 by pediatric nurses and Washington University pediatric physicians. It’s a kid-friendly atmosphere, totally separate from the adult ER, with colorful exam rooms, a spacious play area, and computers for family use.

Our pediatric staff specializes in caring for kids (newborns to teenagers), and the injuries and illnesses they encounter. We’re backed by the radiology and laboratory services of a full-service medical center.

And if there is a case where more specialized care is required, our staff will quickly arrange for your child to be safely transported to the world-class care of St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
